UniBond General Purpose Sealant is an acetoxy curing silicone sealant that forms a flexible seal.

The product has been formulated to provide a hygienic waterproof seal for sanitary applications. It has excellent adhesion to most material, including many plastics, vitreous enamel, glass, metal, brickwork, glazed ceramic and porcelain tiles. It is also suitable for sealing, draft proofing windows and doors, and for gutters and down pipes.

Preparation & Application: The area should be clean, dry and free from dust, grease or loose deposits. Cut the tip off the screw thread. Trim nozzle to desired size and attach to the cartridge. Apply a bead along the gap. Smooth the sealant immediately. Remove excess sealant before it dries with white spirit. The sealant skins in 10-15 minutes and fully cures in approx. 24hrs depending on conditions and joint/bead dimensions. Coverage is approximately 11m.
